Because these are unusual circumstances we are offering three night/ two day stays in an ensuite cabin with daily private yoga, and vegan or vegetarian breakfast from £285. And you can add evening meals or other sessions to your stay.

The true meaning of yoga
So if you want to be organised we can offer guided walks, workshops, cooking sessions, and flow yoga. But you may actually find yourself drawn massage and therapies, relaxation and mindful sessions and more restorative and rejuvenating styles of yoga or meditation.
If it is something you are interested in, we’d love to help you explore the true meaning of yoga. And that doesn’t have to involve touching your toes at all.
At Valley View we groups for personalised retreats. We can provide catering (sorry group catering not available at the moment) or part catering but you create your own programme and have full use of the site and facilities. Or groups of yogis and yoginis can arrange personalised retreats or holidays. Contact us to discuss your requirements. We have another website with the information you will need. Looking for an adventure?
Valley View is a perfect base for a walking . Both the Coast to Coast and the Cleveland way are nearby and the terrain is varied and interesting. Mark holds the Mountain Leader qualification which enables him to lead groups into any terrain and he can arrange wild camping and bushcraft evenings. Or he can simply introduce you to some of the beautiful walks around Valley View, including cliff paths, woodland and meadows, river valleys and open moorland.
Mark is also a single pitch climbing instructor and can take beginners or expert climbers to one of the many crags on the North York Moors. He can work with individuals or small groups.
Leave the car with us
We all encourage guests to take a break from driving during your stay. Whitby is a two mile walk along the disused railway line. Robin Hoods Bay is a beautiful five mile walk via the railway line, moors or cliff top. There is also a pub and a tea room in Sneaton which is 1/2 hour walk and a supermarket at a similar distance.
