Whitby yoga holidays include daily yoga, time to relax, and a chance to enjoy the local area or other activities.  Whitby, Robin Hoods Bay and The North York Moors are all within walking distance of our beautiful site. On these less intensive yoga breaks,  the day starts with energising yoga and a generous vegetarian breakfast.  During the week there are four evening restoratives sessions or Yoga Nidra style relaxation too. The middle of the day is your own. But you can of course book additional sessions if there is something you would like to work on.

Beginners yoga

The yoga teachings on Whitby yoga holidays is accessible for beginners and people relatively new to yoga. But more experienced practitioners are welcome too. The maximum group size for a yoga session is six people, so every student will have individual attention. In our August week long Whitby yoga holiday there are yoga sessions every morning and four evenings. So there will be plenty of chance to see if yoga is for you, or to gain a deeper understanding of the practice. But there will be time for more conventional holiday activities, personal practice and reflection too.  In your free time can always book extra private sessions including aerial yoga.  And there is always something to do in Whitby http://www.visitwhitby.com/whitby/things-to-do

Couples sharing

If you are travelling with a partner who does want to practice yoga our Yoga Holidays in Whitby can accommodate this too. We have several spacious double woodland rooms, all with their own entrance. Non yoga partners can enjoy the beautiful setting. There is walking, running and cycling right from the door. Or for the more adventurous Mark can arrange climbing or navigation sessions


Of course you might simply choose to use your free time to walk in silence or meditate by the stream at Valley View. Or sit by the fire with a book, mindful colouring or a jigsaw.  If you want to do some mindful gardening or spend time with our animals then just let us know.  Or add  Wellness consultationsgrow, cook and eat sessions a guided walk or a massage to your booking.
