What does yoga mean to you?

Yoga is not just a form of exercise, it is a way of life.  When you start a yogic journey you will discover a new level of awareness and anew relationship with yourself, other people and the natural world. And everyone’s yogic journey is individual. We are just at the start of ours. For this reason we try to offer a range of different ways to be more mindful, more in touch, during your stay with us and moving forward.

But for most people the yogic journey starts with yoga sessions in a studio. And ours is pretty special

Our studio

Purpose built for yoga retreats our studio is jewel of the Valley View site. It is light and airy with plenty of room allowing us to use a variety of mat formations depending on the style of the class.

Fully insulated and always warm, there is also a back up heating system for very cold days.

The studio has a stylish mezzanine floor for group relaxation or workshops. It has a small kitchen area with fridge and sink and we always provide a selection of teas. The views of the woodland and stream beyond are breathtaking.

Our studio is fully equipped with mats, bolsters, blankets, and variety of cushions and other props. But students are also welcome to bring their own. And we even have an aerial yoga set up and there is a chance to try ‘flying high’ on many of our retreats and holidays.

During the course of all retreats and holidays guests are welcome to use the studio for self practice or meditation.
