We welcome groups and individuals to stay with us. The accommodation at Valley View offers an optimal retreat experience. But it makes for a special holiday too. In between retreats, visitors can enjoy our amazing location. And bring partners and family members too. Our four acre site on the edge of the North York Moors, has protected woodland and a gurgling stream with waterfall. The area abounds with wildlife and we make every effort to nurture it. And all our rooms have direct access to the outdoors and views of the natural surroundings.
Stay as long as you like
If you join Yogandspice for an organised event you can request to stay a little longer. This is because we have a range of accommodation some of which is only used for retreat style breaks.
Vegetarian bed and breakfast in our garden room
We can also offer bed and breakfast accommodation in our spacious garden room, for stays of two nights or more. True to its name, the Garden room has a private garden fully fenced garden with decking and a private entrance. Ziplock mattresses offer two singles or a kingsize bed. You will be assured of a comfortable stay with an ensuite bathroom with splendid slipper bath and a shower, and separate WC and basin.
Dogs are welcome in the garden room but must be kept on the lead in the rest of the grounds for the sake of our free range chickens and cats.
B and B in Treetops cabin
For a ‘glamping plus’ experience we can also offer Bed and Breakfast in one of our quaint log cabins. ‘Treetops’ is centrally heated, with an ensuite shower room and ensuite and has a log burner for extra warmth and basic cooking. Suitable for couples or single occupancy, it has a double bed and two comfortable chairs. And the view are superb. Bed and breakfast prices start at £65 per night, minimum two nights. Bed and breakfast guests can simply enjoy a holiday in a beautiful place. Or you can book to use our studio or plan a personal retreat with yoga, Ayurveda, guided walks and massage.
We are big time animal lovers and our two cats, Dazzle and Pip and our Labrador, Rosie, enjoy the ambience of Valley View as much as we do. And they are masters of the art of relaxation. While, we do not allow our pets to enter guest areas, you will almost certainly come across them during your stay. We keep happy chickens and ducks in a small paddock and our ponies Millie and Charlie are in a neighbouring field.
We are a meat free site. However, the Windmill Pub at Stainsacre is a ten minute walk through woods and the Wilson Arms at Sneaton is a pleasant 40 minute stroll across fields and woodland. We encourage you to support the local economy but ask you to respect the retreat style feel of your stay.
If you are thinking about joining one of our organised events or retreats feel free to contact us to discuss the style of accommodation, main house or woodland, single double or twin, that would suit you best. We try to honour all requests but obviously rooms are allocated on a first come first served basis.
